Founder Story
WeeklyVentures was founded by serial entrepreneur Sangmin Lee,
who spent 4.5 years as Asia Investment Director at AM Ventures, a German VC firm, before
diving back into entrepreneurship.
Sangmin launched his first business in college—a specialized e-commerce platform for soccer cleats—which
he ran for 3 years before successfully exiting. He then founded Hi-Globe, Korea's first
solar energy subscription service. In 2024, he started WeeklyVentures as a serial entrepreneurship
platform focused on rapid prototyping and market validation.
Track Record
In the first year, we developed 20+ products.
SoulCanvas, a story-based AI art generation mobile app focused on emotional wellness, was
our first spin-off and was successfully acquired by a US company in April 2025.
Our second spin-off, Patenty.ai, is an AI-powered patent solution actively helping
patent attorneys reduce repetitive tasks and work more effectively.
New Movement: WeeklyLab
To share our serial entrepreneurship approach with more people, we recently
launched WeeklyLab—a
platform where users can freely share ideas, collaborate, and co-create products for launch.

With AI coding tools dramatically reducing development costs and
time, 2024-2025 is the perfect era for startup experimentation. Technical difficulty matters
less than solving real market needs. Timing is critical, and execution speed is the new
competitive advantage.
